The Welsh Government is seeking views on new proposals to support the development of a new National Youth Work Strategy.
An annual event that provides youth workers and young people with the opportunity to celebrate the achievements and impacts of youth work.

Youth Work Week takes place from 23-30 June each year and aims to:

  • promote a wider understanding and support for youth work
  • gain media coverage
  • promote positive images of young people
  • promote the benefits of youth work
  • celebrate the contribution of youth work with young people.

The Youth Work Excellence Awards launched Youth Work Week in 2017, and a national event was held on 27 June at The Senedd, Cardiff Bay to showcase youth work in Wales.

Numerous events and activities took place across Wales with many stories and photos being shared via Twitter.
