The Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs has set the ambition for the Welsh Public Sector to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Call for evidence

The aim of the Call for Evidence was to explore the most effective mechanisms for achieving the ambition and the appropriate strategic actions required. Progressing the right actions has the ability to reduce carbon, increase public sector efficiency and influence emission reductions in other sectors of the economy and society.

The Call outlines previous Welsh Government action to meet our decarbonisation targets and also explores the scope of action around both direct and indirect emissions. The call ran from 5th July until the 14th September 2017 and the summary of responses is now available.
