Parenting. Give it time campaign

On 20 November 2015, a new campaign offering tips and advice to parents on positive approaches to raising children was launched by the Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty.

The campaign website (external link) gives practical tips and advice to parents on encouraging positive behaviour, boosting their child’s confidence and supporting their development.

It also provides tips and advice on common parenting concerns including on tantrums, bed times, bath times and potty training. There are also details of organisations for parents who may need further help and support.

Get involved too using the campaign Facebook page (External link).
